Dr. Catherine Wroclawski DMD, MD, is a dual degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon committed to delivering compassionate, evidence based surgical care. She completed her dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating valedictorian of her class with induction into Omicron Kappa Upsilon and the Matthew Cryer Honor Society—Penn Dental Medicine’s highest academic honor. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine, where she also completed her six year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
During her training at Mayo Clinic, Dr. Wroclawski gained extensive experience in the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dentoalveolar surgery, outpatient anesthesia, facial trauma, orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery, and cleft and craniofacial procedures. She served her last year as Chief Resident Associate, which reinforced her passion for teaching and lifelong learning—values she carries into her clinical practice every day.
She now currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, in addition to caring for patients in private practice. Dedicated to service, Dr. Wroclawski has participated in multiple surgical mission trips, providing cleft lip and palate care in Guatemala and oral surgical care in Haiti and the Dominican Republic.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Wroclawski is grateful to care for patients in her home state. She is known for her meticulous surgical technique, and commitment to ensuring every patient feels informed, supported, and confident throughout their treatment experience—echoing the Mayo Clinic treatment philosophy that the needs of the patient come first.
