Alvin N. Ngai, D.D.S., M.D.
Dr. Alvin M. Ngai was born and raised in New York City. After attending the prestigious Brooklyn Technical High School, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science for Bio-Chemistry from Pace University. From there he attended the New York University College of Dentistry earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery. While at NYU, he received the Dean’s Fellowship Research Award for continued laboratory investigations, as well as being inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Ngai continued his path with a fellowship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Connecticut Health Center. From there he completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Kings County Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY serving as Chief Resident during the last year of the intense six-year program. During this time, he earned his Medical Degree from S.U.N.Y Downstate College of Medicine and completed his General Surgery Internship at the University Hospital of Brooklyn.
Dr. Ngai is a Board Eligible Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon and is a member of the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He enjoys practicing all aspects of the field. Currently, he resides in Pine Brook, NJ with his wife and son. When not in the office he enjoys spending time with family, snowboarding, video games, gardening, and is always open to a new hobby.
